Hamas says it accepts ceasefire proposal—developing story

Hamas leaders announced on Monday that it instructed Egyptian and Qatari mediators it accepted the international locations’ most up-to-date Gaza ceasefire proposal. The announcement comes quickly after Israel ordered an evacuation of components of Rafah.

The group had beforehand despatched a delegation to Cairo to debate the proposal and stated Sunday that there was not settlement. Earlier on Monday, a Hamas official instructed an Israeli reporter that negotiations had been prone to be suspended and talks had appeared to interrupt down, with the 2 events accusing the opposite of sabotaging a deal. Israel began making ready for floor operations in Rafah, with an evacuation announcement and in a single day air strikes.
