Elizabeth Holmes’ Prison Sentence Delayed as Court Considers Appeal

The jail sentence of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has been delayed whereas the court docket considers overturning a district court docket determination denying her request for launch whereas she appeals her conviction for fraud. Holmes was sentenced to 11 years in jail and convicted on 4 counts of wire fraud in 2022. Holmes, together with Theranos’ former president Ramesh Balwani, had been convicted of fraud for his or her position in a scheme to mislead traders and for making false claims about their firm’s blood testing expertise.
