Wisconsin’s Supreme Courtroom has shifted from a conservative majority to a liberal majority for the primary time in 15 years, following the latest victory of Milwaukee County Choose Janet Protasiewicz within the spring election, Temia Fowikes reports for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Protasiewicz, who has greater than 25 years of expertise as a prosecutor and teaches at Marquette Regulation Faculty, is pro-choice and protested in opposition to Act 10 throughout her marketing campaign. She’s going to start her 10-year time period on Aug. 1st, taking up for retiring conservative Justice Persistence D. Roggensack. With this transformation in management, Wisconsin’s Supreme Courtroom will now be composed of Chief Justice Annette (conservative), Kingsland Ziegler (conservative), Ann Walsh Bradley (liberal), Rebecca Grassl Bradley (conservative), Rebecca Frank Dallet (liberal), Brian Hagedorn (conservative) and Jill J. Karofsky (liberal).
