UK Ministry of Defense confirms UK Special Forces at center of Afghanistan war crimes inquiry

United Kingdom (UK) Protection Secretary Ben Wallace announced Wednesday that UK Particular Forces are the main focus of an inquiry into allegations of “illegal exercise” in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2013. The unbiased inquiry, which Wallace commissioned in 2022, addresses allegations that the response by Royal Navy Police investigating whether or not illegal killings had been carried out by the British armed forces was insufficient.
