In a federal court docket in Brooklyn, a 48-count, superseding indictment was unsealed charging 23 people with racketeering conspiracy and associated offenses. The defendants, alleged members and associates of the MS-13 gang, are accused of a number of murders, acts of violence, drug distribution, and cash laundering. The indictment contains costs in opposition to nationwide gang chief Edenilson Velasquez Larin and others from the Fulton Locos Salvatruchas clique.
